Upload New User – Client Requests Guide Instructions

Clients regularly request ‘new staff members’ to be uploaded into CorteX.

This can be actioned by:

  • Client’s ‘organisation admin’ user level (who can follow the ‘Organisation Admin User Guide/Demos’ to apply this request internally)
  • or by our Freshdesk support officer (by following the below instructions)

STEP 1: Freshdesk/support@esherhouse.org client request received for ‘new staff access’.

STEP 2:  Respond to Freshdesk ticket and close ticket once Step 3 is actioned.

STEP 3:  Upload New User into CorteX:

  1. Open your CorteX Platform at: https://esherhouse.jobready.io/jr
  2. Go to Settings - Select ‘Organisation’ – Select ‘Add Filter’ button to search for the relevant ‘Organisation’ – Select ‘Apply’ to generate filter results
  3. Select the ‘View’ option from the drop-down menu on the right-hand side of the organisation line.

INDIVIDUAL ‘new staff user’ uploads:

Step 1: Select the ‘New User’ button

Step 2: Enter the new staff member’s details into the New User form, based on the information provided in the client’s ‘new staff user request’.

Step 3: Click Save.

BULK ‘new staff user’ uploads:

Step 1:  Select the ‘Users’ tab

Step 2: Select the ‘BULK CREATE USERS’ button

Step 3: Download the csv template

Step 4: Enter the ‘bulk’ new staff member’s details into the csv file and save on your desktop to upload in step 5

(note: you will need to know the correct ‘role, assessment type, site’ details relevant for that specific staff member - this will need to be provided by the client requester)

Step 5: Select the ‘Choose file’ button to upload the ‘saved’ csv file

IMPORTANT:  Select the ‘Send welcome email?’ checkbox

(this will send a Welcome email with login instructions directly to the new staff member for access to their CorteX Platform)

Step 6: Select ‘Submit’ button

NOTE: There are 4 different ‘Roles’ which can be applied to ‘User Access Levels’, depending on the client requirements/request (if in doubt ask the client for clarification of the required ‘user level’).
